Oktoberfest, family-friendly Tricks & Treats and Halloween Haunt bring three distinctly different ways to experience the park this fall<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

VAUGHAN, ON (Aug. 18, 2026)<\/strong> \u2013 Fall is taking over Canada\u2019s Wonderland. As summer winds down, the park transforms for a season of food, festivities, family-friendly Halloween fun and after-dark scares, with Oktoberfest, Tricks & Treats and Halloween Haunt bringing three distinctly different experiences to the park this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether guests are raising a stein to Oktoberfest, trick-or-treating with the PEANUTS gang or facing their fears at Halloween Haunt, there\u2019s something for everyone as the season changes at Canada\u2019s Wonderland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oktoberfest: Prost to Fall!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fall festivities begin with Oktoberfest<\/strong>, returning weekends Sept. 11-13 and 18-20 with the sights, sounds and flavours of Germany. Guests can enjoy German favourites including bratwurst, schnitzel and warm pretzels, paired with an extensive selection of craft beers and seasonal dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The celebration comes alive with lively polka music, live bands, street performers and festive entertainment, while most of the park\u2019s most popular rides remain open for guests looking to add some thrills to their celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tricks & Treats: All the Family Fun, No Fear<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting Sept. 26, families can celebrate Halloween during Tricks & Treats,<\/strong> the new name for Canada\u2019s Wonderland\u2019s popular family-friendly Halloween event formerly known as Camp Spooky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Kids<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Taking place during the day on select dates through Nov. 1, Tricks & Treats is all about Halloween fun without the fright. Kids can dress up in their Halloween best, meet friendly characters, enjoy trick-or- treating and take part in a variety of spooky-but-silly entertainment and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights include Monster Bash, where classic movie monsters compete to become the Ultimate Halloween Monster, the PEANUTS Costume Party, and a Trick or Treating Adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Families can also explore a friendlier side of some of Canada\u2019s Wonderland\u2019s spooky environments, including Spirit Manor, where brighter lights, a lighter soundtrack and friendly ghosts replace the scares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guests can also see the Pumpkin Patches, enjoy the musical stylings of the Spectral Sisters, meet magical characters in Wicked Hollow and explore the family-friendly Corn Maze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Halloween Haunt: All You Fear, Is Here<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the sun goes down, the monsters come to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Halloween Haunt<\/strong> returns select nights Sept. 25 through Nov. 1, transforming Canada\u2019s Wonderland into a scream park filled with haunted mazes, sinister scare zones, hundreds of monsters, live entertainment and thrilling night rides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Pumpkins<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Guests can brave six haunted mazes*, including Cornstalkers, Dark Ride, Demons of the Deep, Spirit Manor, The Crypt and The Ruins, each immersing guests in a different nightmare. Seven scare zones throughout the park add another layer of terror, with monsters and eerie environments waiting around every corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Returning as a featured experience is The Conjuring: Beyond Fear<\/strong>, an immersive terror experience that puts guests in the role of paranormal investigators. Guests must confront malevolent entities from New Line Cinema\u2019s The Conjuring Universe<\/em>, including the infamous Annabelle, while attempting to lock away cursed artifacts before sinister forces consume the living realm. A separate purchase is required for this experience, which is recommended for guests aged 13 and up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haunt also features live entertainment including Inferno, a fiery performance featuring daring stunts and contortions; Head Bangers, an electrifying LED drumming experience; and live bands and performers throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada\u2019s Wonderland Is Hiring Its Monsters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every scream at Halloween Haunt starts with the people behind the makeup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Canada\u2019s Wonderland is currently hiring for Halloween Haunt actors who will transform into the monsters, characters and creatures that bring the park\u2019s haunted mazes and scare zones to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those selected for the roles will become part of the team responsible for bringing Canada\u2019s Wonderland\u2019s haunted mazes and scare zones to life, helping create the characters and creatures that make Halloween Haunt one of the park\u2019s most immersive experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2027 Gold Pass Now Available for the Lowest Price \u2013 This Year and Next<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Bavarian food and polka music to family-friendly Halloween fun and, after dark, haunted mazes, monsters and paranormal terror, Canada\u2019s Wonderland offers something for everyone this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reactions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fall is possibly my favourite time of year at Canada’s Wonderland and this year looks really solid even without anything notably new. Oktoberfest is always a great event and I always look forward to it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camp Spooky has a new name, which makes sense since that name never made a ton of sense at a park without Camp Snoopy. Tricks & Treats is a little generic though, so I’d have preferred something a little different. I’m still hoping there are some other changes to this year’s event to distinguish it from Camp Spooky, but it sounds like it’s just a new name. Regardless, I’m thrilled Monster Bash is returning along with the other excellent family friendly entertainment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you’re a fan of horror and haven’t experienced The Conjuring yet, do yourself a favour and check it out this year! Yes, it’s worth the price to do it at least once in my opinion. Outside of that, I’m hoping some returning mazes and scare zones get a bit of a refresh to make for a better overall experience and justify the cost of the Haunted Attractions Pass. The show lineup looks a little lacklustre, with Freak Show not mentioned anywhere on the website. Hopefully the park reveals another Halloween Haunt show in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
